i am asked FREQUENTLY .."why do you type L-VE instead of love?"

..because L-VE is the REAL four letter word. not "fuck". fucking is easy, not l-ving me is more offensive. to me the word FUCK is simple. the word L-VE is more abusive, if you don't mean it.

good comment by Brooke and it leads me to ask what is L-ve because all too often it rolls off the tongue! Look at the number of people expressing l-ve for MJ. is that the same as a couple who have been together through thick and thin over 30,40,50 years or more and still l-ve each other. Its a word which needs great thought before expressing it to another. It shouldn't be used as an excuse to obtain the unobtainable as that someone's emotional state one is playing with. L-ve as Brooke states is abusive if you don't mean it.

your thoughts are too funny, but real. that right though, straight to the point "fuck". get it or not.

I've been following for you a little and noticed that too. I definitely feel where you're coming from. Love is a word that's thrown around carelessly like a child's plaything. Folks tend to forget the word power behind the "L" word.

It's difficult to explain how one can love buffalo wings and love their wife or mother. That word is commonly misused, now the word care carries more weight with me. If I care about someone i'd step in front of a bus for them, but love ehh not so much I love my playstation a good steak.

I lOve you ma and I mean it.

Seriously though, this has quickly become one of my favorite blogs. Keep up the great work.

The word has been watered but Brook and Anonymous are only looking at the word one way; in the real love/relationship sense, where the word in some respects hasn't loss its luster and probably never will. Tell a man or woman you've been seeing "I love you" and see how that changes everything, even if you say I love the Yankees or my car. Throwing it around in that sense is abusive but you can't tell me "I love my {insert object]" takes away from
actually loving your partner.

Saying "I love Jazmine because she does this or buys me that" is cheap and needs to be eradicated. That's luv, the kiddie bullshit

I never realized how stupid saying ma was until I read it lol

Tis true. Very on point. It's abusive, offensive and dishonest to say "I love you" when you don't mean it. If you ain't gonna die for me, sacrifice for me, etc, and if I wouldn't do the same for you, I ain't gonna say it.
